Let Lee introduce you to the awarding Brickmakers, 496 Sprowston Road, NR3 4DY where every Sunday lunchtime you will find him, starting at 12.30 p.m. with his latest project based around a string trio. On violin is Liz Skinner, the viola is played by Mark Jolley and the cello by Debbie Holmes and together they play a wonderful selection of Jazz, Latin American and Bluegrass music. This is certainly something not to be missed.
In the second part of the show the line-up changes to introduce the Lee Vasey Band, incorporating their very talented six piece brass section, who play music by Maynard Ferguson, the well-known Canadian jazz musician and bandleader, together with some of Lee’s own tunes.
Finally at around 2 pm the band are joined by one of the singers from Lee’s Big Band, Ceri, Bekki, Emma or Bryan to perform a selection of tunes that includes the music of Michael Bublé and Frank Sinatra together with some Jazz and Soul classics.
As with so many of Lee’s events he likes to welcome other singers and players on to the stage to join him and the band, so don’t be shy and join in and be part of the show!
